Itinerary
- Day 1: Arusha/Moshi to Tarangire National Park
Depart early for Tarangire, one of Tanzania’s hidden gems. Spend the day on game drives through scenic valleys dotted with baobabs, where you’ll encounter elephants, giraffes, and possibly big cats. In the late afternoon, continue to Karatu for dinner and rest.
Overnight in a lodge in Karatu Town.
- Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive & Return to Arusha/Moshi
After an early breakfast, drive to the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater and descend for a half-day game drive. This UNESCO-listed wonder is home to the Big Five and offers incredible wildlife viewing in a breathtaking, bowl-shaped landscape. After lunch, begin the drive back to Arusha or Moshi.
